Just been round knocking on doors asking members of Business Leads UK to do a spot of decorating... it may sound tough but as I will keep repeating ...
Business Leads UK is not going to be one of those dead spaces you can find all day long on the web... people need to be active or there is little point in hanging around... I’m not after having 27,000,000 blank profiles so I can go to some corporate and say, hey look, I’m full of ... err not a lot, but let’s pretend ... pay us loads of money and we’ll stick some of your really awesome banners across the top of our world and no-one will click... or if they do, it will probably be by accident more than design... sorry, was I talking out loud! This site will be full of a few people who really want to improve their lot and generate business by ensuring the world knows they exist... that means making some noise... and that means content, content, content... It also means helping others in the community... We're asking them not to annoy visitors with 140 character Morse code, if you have something to say, say it properly so we can all understand on the page without the need to click ... we only need to click if we are really, really interested ... so neither of us are wasting time. I appreciate that many people will just sign up because it currently says FREE ... this is always the way but if you want to stick around then you need to be of value to the group ... no room for free loaders.
