Jon Davey has been generated B2B business leads for companies of all sizes since he started in business back in the late 1980’s.
Initially this was for corporate clients, working as a salesman for Nestle and then Johnson & Johnson. Latterly, launching Acuvue contact lenses into the optical market place back in the 90’s. In recent years he has combined this natural instinct for creating awareness with online marketing techniques. In 2001, under his LiaiseOnline brand, he took email marketing to marketing and PR companies down the Thames Valley. This was the early adopter time for email and few were brave enough to take the plunge, preferring postal campaigns. This grew into a healthy business. This was followed by the creation of Business in Berkshire in 2002 to help local businesses promote themselves. Over 1000 businesses have had the opportunity to maximise their online profile with a BinB micro site. Many thinking that simply having the space and adding no new content would be enough to attract visitors. To some extent this is true, the overall activity of BinB helping keep profiles flying high but the key as with most things online is to add content, content, content.
