LiaiseOnline Limited has been generating sales leads for many years for clients across the globe!
As with most companies, the majority of our business has been with local companies. In 2002 we incorporated our business; we came up with a name to describe the process where people liaise online! It’s a great name but so many people have difficulty with the spelling! In 2001 we launched email marketing services, in 2002 Business in Berkshire was formed to offer news to local businesses by email. The aim was to promote our email marketing business but so many people put the email in its own box and so never associated us with email marketing. This was frustrating but then it gained its own momentum. For 7 years we have been pushing out 2 regular newsletters to databases of 3000 + contacts. Over those 7 years over 10,000 individuals have been signed up at one time or another for news. The problem with email is that people are always changing their addresses or the servers use filters that block newsletters for a whole host of reasons, reducing the effectiveness of this media. Today, everyone gets so many emails pinging their in boxes that they are likely to only spend a few seconds on each. With this in mind we are changing the way we communicate with our readers. Firstly, we are not changing the Monday email; we have simply cleaned up the database so that we are only sending to those that opened up at least 1 of the last 15 emails we despatched. This means we now have a database of around 1400 regular readers, actively interested in events across Berkshire. Wednesday’s email however is going to be replaced by individual focussed messages that are despatched to the whole database. We will send no more than 2 messages a day but it will be very clear they are from us and what the subject matter is as it will say it in the FROM and SUBJECT lines. No cryptic clues, the title will say what it is about so those opted in can read or delete quickly. This we feel will respect the time of the busy business men and women that are tuned in and ensure better value for the sponsors, readers and ourselves! Friday’s email which focuses on LiaiseOnline products and services will move from Friday to Wednesday, a more active business day and earlier in the week so readers are fresher and more interested! The newsletter will feature the 4 main services that we offer: So here are the new foundations of LiaiseOnline and we will be banging these drums for the next four months and then, with a fair wind and good spirit, hopefully August will become a month of relaxation while we plan our Autumn and Winter campaigns! |
